Superstar Rajinikanth has completed shooting and dubbing for his new movie 'Annaathe' and is listening scripts for his next after that. The first look poster and motion poster of the film were released on Friday in view of Vinayakar Chathurthi which trended number one on social media.
Meanwhile fans of Rajini belonging to Trichy slaughtered a live goat and poured the blood on the 'Annaathe' poster. They shared the entire gruesome incident on video that went viral. The act was condemned by many social activists and general public and requests were made that Rajini too should do so. Police complaints have been lodged not only on the perpetrators but also on Rajini himself.
V.M. Sudhakar a leader of the Rajinikanth Fans Club has released a statement condemning the public goat slaughter. He also warned the fan club members not to indulge in such appalling activities in the future.
'Annaathe' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures has music score by D. Imman. The ensemble star cast comprises of Rajini, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Khusbhu, Meena, Soori, Prakash Raj and Jagapathy Babu.
