Earlier today, we had brought you the news of Superstar Rajinikanth being bestowed with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the most prestigious award for a film personality. Thalaivar received it from Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President of India in front of his family in New Delhi. He gained a standing ovation from the dignitaries present at the venue.
Now, the latest news is that Rajinikanth has launched his daughter Soundarya Vishagan's voice-based social media app called 'Hoote' with his voice note. The actor had shared a statement on Sunday that October 25 will remain a special day in his life for two reasons. While he received his award, his daughter Soundarya launched a new social media platform today.
Soundarya said that a voice note from her dad Rajini inspired her to develop the app based on audio messages. The superstar shared two voice notes on the app. Taking to Twitter, Rajinikanth shared a link to his profile on Hoote. He wrote, "Hoote - Voice based social media platform, from India for the world." Rajinikanth wished his daughter on the success of Hoote in his first post. He said that the app will be useful to people who don't know to read and write.
In his second auditory message, Rajini said, "I dedicate my Dadasaheb Phalke award, the most prestigious prize of the film industry, offered by the Central Government to my mentor K Balachander sir, my elder brother Satyanarayana Gaikwad, my friend and bus driver Raj Bahadur, my movies' producers, directors, technicians, co-stars, distributors, theater owners, press and media people, my fans and the dear people of Tamil Nadu."
