It is reported that Rajini's COVID 19 test results have come and its negative bringing much relief to his family and fans. It is said that the Thalaivar has decided to isolate himself in Hyderabad itself and has not opted to travel to Chennai under the current circumstances.

'Annaathe' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures has the ensemble starcast of Rajini, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Soori, Khusbhu, Meena, Prakash Raj and Jackie Shroff.

Rajini's daughter Aishwarya R Dhanush has also accompanied him to the shooting spot at Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad. The stalwart has been protected by a bio bubble during the shooting.
