Superstars Rajinikanth & Amitabh Bachchan duo to be back on the big screens after three decades?

Superstar Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan are two legendary names in Indian cinema hailing from Kollywood and Bollywood respectively. Now, the hot news of the two coming together on the big screens has taken the internet by storm. Fans are cloud nine ever since the reports broke out.

Superstar Rajinikanth is currently working on his upcoming projects – ‘Jailer’ and ‘Lal Salaam’ (Cameo). Meanwhile, he will be moving to his next film with director TJ Gnanavel, tentatively called ‘Thalaivar 170’ after the ongoing movies. According to sources, Big B is likely to play an important role alongside Thalaivar in the upcoming venture.

Previously, Superstars Rajinikanth & Amitabh Bachchan acted in the 1991 Bollywood biggie, ‘Hum’. It is worth mentioning that ‘Hum’ was a spark for Thalaivar’s iconic gangster movie ‘Baashha’. Now, the duo is associating again for a massive big-screen combination after 32 years. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.

Rajini is likely to play a retired cop fighting against encounter punishment in Thalaivar 170, produced by Lyca Productions. This movie is touted to be an intense drama and the shooting is expected to commence by the end of this year.
