We had reported earlier that Sathya Movies to commemorate their fiftieth year in the industry have decided to re-release Superstar Rajinikanth`s biggest blockbuster Baasha`. The film has been digitally enhanced and remastered with the 5.1 sound design.

While the original voice dubbing will be retained music director Deva is scoring the background music again with modern instruments and is also adding some additional music. This will surely enhance the viewing experience for all those millions of fans of the film. The film directed by Suresh Krishna has Rajinikanth, Nagma, Raghuvaran and Janagaraj and the re-release date will be announced in early 2017.
