When December 12th comes all roads lead to Poes Garden where thousands of fans throng to catch a glimpse of Thalaivar to greet him on his birthday. Most of the time they tend to be disappointed as India's biggest superstar will usually head to the Himalayas.
This year though Rajini is in the city he has requested his fans and followers not to celebrate his birthday due to the passing away of the former chief minister Jayalalitha. He has also requested to avoid banners and posters.
