Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' is on its final stages of shooting. The sci-fi entertainer directed by Shankar features Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in lead roles.

The film is being produced by Lyca Productions on a humongus scale Rs.400 crores. The film is being made in 3D format and it will be released in 3D format in theaters across the world.

Even the First Look poster was released in a grand function held in Mumbai at a whopping budget of Rs.6 crores. The teaser expected to be unveiled in April can be expected to come with a much costlier event.

Generally when it comes to film sets, a expenditure of around Rs.1 crore will be considered as huge. The makers of '2.0' have apparently decided to take this scale to huge level.

We learn from a source that a set at Poonamalee near Chennai is being erected at a cost of Rs.20 crores.
