Earlier, Superstar Rajinikanth started shooting for his next film, 'Thalaivar 170', directed by TJ Gnanavel. The makers filmed a few schedules in Kerala and Tirunelveli. The pictures and videos from the shooting spot went viral on the internet. Now, the shoot is all set to resume.

Manju Warrier and VJ Rakshan took part with Thalaivar in the initial schedules. Now, the hot news is that Rajinikanth flew to Mumbai today to start the next schedule of Thalaivar 170. It will be a short schedule and Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan will be joining the shoot. He will be seen in a pivotal role in this movie.

Notably, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan are coming together after 37 years. The duo's combination scenes will be shot in this schedule. As per the reports, the film is touted to be an encounter cop thriller produced by Lyca Productions. Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan and others will be seen in key roles in this flick with music by Anirudh.
