Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' directed by Shankar and costarring Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson is touted to be the costliest Indian project ever has completed shooting and post production is on in full swing.  The audio launch event that happened in Dubai last month saw A.R.Rahman performing live and the songs becoming chartbusters.

Lyca Productions planned to launch the teaser of '2.0' on November 22 and the trailer on Rajini's birthday the 12th of December while the film itself is planned to release on the 25th of January 2018.  Rumors started spreading that the all the above dates have been postponed and that the film is likely to hit the screens only in April 2018.  When we got in touch with the production team they have clarified that everything is on track as planned and if there are any changes the director and the producer will officially announce.
