Superstar Rajinikanth, currently filming for his highly anticipated movie Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has been admitted to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. The 73-year-old legendary actor, known for his active presence in cinema and balanced family life, was hospitalized, sparking concern among fans.

Sources close to the actor confirmed that Rajinikanth’s hospital stay is planned. He will be going through an elective procedure and an interventional cardiologist Dr. Sai Satish is overseeing his care. The hospital has stated that his condition is stable, and the procedure is scheduled for Tuesday in the cath lab.

As news of his hospitalization spread, fans and celebrities flooded social media with wishes for his speedy recovery. As per the latest update, the procedure has been completed and Thalaivar has been moved to a ward for observation. He is stable and will return to work soon. Meanwhile, his upcoming film Vettaiyan is set to hit theatres on October 10.
