We all know that Superstar Rajinikanth is set to make a guest appearance after many years in the upcoming film, 'Lal Salaam'. The legendary actor has decided to do it for his daughter Aishwarya, who is set to make her directorial comeback after a hiatus with this project.

Produced by Lyca Productions, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth will be playing the lead roles. The movie went on the floors with a muhurat puja last month in the presence of Rajinikanth, Aishwarya, Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth and producer Subaskaran. The 'Lal Salaam' team had an initial shooting for ten days in Chennai following the launch event.

Now, sources tell us that the regular shooting of Lal Salaam will begin in February 2023. Reportedly, the team has planned a 10-day schedule in Karaikal. The makers are aiming to film this movie quickly with back-to-back long schedules. The story is set in the backdrop of cricket. Isai Puyal AR Rahman is composing music for the much-awaited flick.

On the other hand, Superstar Rajinikanth is actively shooting for his next film, 'Jailer', directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. As per the speculations, nearly 60 percent of Jailer shooting is over. The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirna Menon and others in prominent roles.
