Super Star Rajnikanth though being a staunch devotee of Lord Sri Raghavednra a Hindu sage, has never spoken anything that would hurt the sentiments of people following other religions. Moreover his religious beliefs have never stopped him from seeking the blessings of Gods and pontiffs belonging to other religions.

Recently a Pastor named Saami Thangiyah had visited Rajini at his Poes Garden residence and blessed the sexagenarian star by touching his chest and blessed him saying that the prayer that has been planted in him will grow like a tree and bring oodles of prosperity in his life. The star known for his simplicity, modesty and god fearing nature is said to have immensely gladdened by the Pastor’s gesture and his words of blessing.

The star who has just completed his part in his upcoming film Kochadiiyaan has limited his visits outside home to the events that were associated with very close friends and relatives, in order to remain in good health.

It is worth recounting that the Superstar was victimized by some complicated health hazards two years ago and a visit to Singapore for treatment was necessitated. Thanks to the prayers of crores of fans cutting across religions and the star’s willpower, the treatment was successful and the man was back to his business.

Having completed his current commitments, recently the Superstar had also visited Tirupathi, accompanied by Aishwarya, his elder daughter and wife of actor Dhanush, to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji. He had also reportedly conveyed to his close circles, that his mind was filled with peacefulness after the visit.

Incidentally it was the day on which the Superstar returned from Tirupathi, the Pastor had visited his residence.
