There were times, when merely multiplex audiences loved watching genres of ‘Supernatural Thrillers’. But now paradigms are shifted as the tastes of single screen viewers have been transcended where it’s downpour of successful endeavor for filmmakers brimming with such genres.

Previous Friday had the release of ‘Arundhathee’ based on the motif of re-incarnation. Although, there’ve been more flicks made in the past, it was a different show loaded with fantastic visuals and art works. In fact, ‘Arundhathee’ happens to be the only dubbed film released in so many theaters here. The film is still witnessing house-packed shows with good response in multiplexes as well single screens. Week back, ‘Yaavarum Nalam’ strode with finesse grossing good collections across all the centres.

Meanwhile, couple Malayalam films ‘Thanthiran’ and ‘Siva Puram’ based on the same genres are getting dubbed into Tamil. ‘Siva Puram’ dubbed version of Santhosh Sivan’s ‘Anandabadram’ was a great success in Mollywood box office. The film has Prithviraj, Kavya Madhavan in lead roles while Manoj K Vijayan takes on the antagonist role of an evil sorcerer. Kalabhavan Mani, Cochin Haneefa, Riya Sen and Revathi are performing prominent roles. As these actors are more famous amongst Tamil audiences, lots of expectations are surmounted on this film.
