After 24 years, the makers of Mollywood's super hit movie 'Summer in Bethlehem' have announced that the family entertainer will have a sequel soon. Siyad Koker, who produced the movie, announced the same and also confirmed that actress Manju Warrier, who played the female lead in the super hit, will be part of the sequel too. The announcement was made during the audio launch of Manju Warrier and Jayasurya starring 'Meri Awas Suno'. "Manju is like my family member. But unfortunately, I associated with her only for one movie. Manju will be part of the second part of 'Summer in Bethlehem'," said Siyad Koker. Who else is involved in the upcoming project is not clear. Lets wait and watch.

The 1998 super hit movie 'Summer in Bethlehem' is considered to be one of the most re-watchable movies in Malayalam'. Directed by Sibi Malayil, the movie had starred Manju Warrier, Suresh Gopi and Jayaram in the lead roles. The movie revolved around the story of a bunch of Ravishankar’s family and cousins who visit as Bethlehem Estates for a vacation. The estate is owned by Dennis, played by Suresh Gopi. Jayaram plays the role of Ravishankar and Manju Warrier is one of his smartest cousins. The film also had a cameo role played by Mohanlal as Niranjan, a college professor and Manju Warrier’s college love interest. The movie's comedy scenes and romance are still fresh in the minds of the viewers.
