Actor Vijay who had recently given a blockbuster with the Atlee directed Bigil this Diwali, is now shooting for the second schedule of his next movie Thalapathy 64 directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and this movie is produced by XB Film Creators.

After this movie which is set to release in Summer 2020, Vijay has reportedly finalized his next movie. The latest speculation making rounds is that Vijay's 65th movie will be directed by Thadaiyara Thaakka, Thadam director Magizh Thirumeni and an official clarification is awaited.

It has been said that Magizh Thirumeni had narrated his story to Vijay during the shoot of Thalapathy 64 and that Vijay had been impressed with it. It is said that after the release of Lokesh Kanagaraj movie, Vijay might begin shooting for Thalapathy 65 in June and the movie might release on Pongal 2021.
