Actor Jayam Ravi had recently scored a superhit with the entertainer Comali, which also starred Kajal Aggarwal, Yogi Babu, Samyuktha Hegde and KS Ravikumar, and the movie had Jayam Ravi playing a man who wakes up from coma after 16 years.

Comali was directed by debutant Pradeep Ranganathan and produced by Vels Film International, and following the huge success of the movie, reportedly Vels Film International had signed the director for another movie. Now, there's a speculation about the hero of this new movie.

As per sources, Pradeep Ranganathan's second movie might have Chiyaan Vikram in lead role. With Ajay Gnanamuthu's next movie and Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan in his hands, it has been expected that this movie will be shot in quick time and Vikram might finish this one before starting the big budget ventures.
