Director Ashwin Saravanan had made his debut in Tamil cinema in 2015 with the lady superstar Nayanthara starrer horror movie Maya which became a superhit and had next directed the Taapsee Pannu starrer multilingual thriller Game over which was successful as well.

Ashwin Saravanan's Iravakaalam starring SJ Suryah, Wamiqa Gabbi and Sshivada is awaiting release, and the director is next directing a thriller starring Samantha as a physically challenged person and Prasanna playing a key role.
