Directed by Gnanavel Raja, the mastermind behind Suriya's successful film "Jai Bheem," the upcoming movie is titled "Vettaiyan." Joining Rajinikanth in this venture are acclaimed actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Fazil, Rana, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Tushara Vijayan. Anirudh is set to weave his musical magic, and the film is being produced by Lyca.

The shooting for the film commenced with its first phase in Thiruvananthapuram and Tirunelveli, followed by the second phase in Mumbai. During the Mumbai leg of filming, crucial scenes featuring both Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan were captured. Presently, the crew is immersed in the shooting process in Puducherry.
