Superstar Mahesh Babu's collaboration with director Rajamouli is a highly anticipated project that promises to be a milestone in both their careers. Rajamouli is known for creating cinematic experiences unlike anything seen before in Indian cinema, and this film is expected to be no different. Although the film's pre-production is currently in full swing, an official press meet is expected soon to provide more details about this ambitious venture.
Initially, the film's shooting was slated to commence by now. However, due to the meticulous script work, the start of regular shooting has been delayed. Once the project goes on floors, Mahesh Babu will be fully dedicated to it, stepping away from other commitments. Known for his privacy, Mahesh is currently in discussions regarding his look for the film.
Before joining forces with Rajamouli, Mahesh has been actively involved in various commercial ad shoots. Recently, he participated in another ad shoot directed by Anil Ravipudi, with whom he previously worked on the successful film "Sarileru Neekevvaru." While this ad shoot marks Mahesh's final commitment before starting Rajamouli's project, it's expected that he will take a break from ad shoots once filming begins.
In the meantime, Anil Ravipudi shared his excitement with a picture of him along with Mahesh Babu and Rajendra Prasad. He posted "Back with Babu, but this time for an ad It's always fun and exciting directing my hero, dear Superstar @UrstrulyMahesh Garu, His smile & energy are just Magical#Abhibus Ad coming soon with #SSMB"
The regular shooting for Rajamouli's project is likely to commence after the summer. Currently, decisions regarding Mahesh's look are being finalized, and he is expected to participate in workshops for the film. While there were initial speculations about the film's release in the upcoming year, it is now being speculated that the film might hit the screens in 2026.
