‘Super Singer’ fame Maalavika Sundar’s wedding photos go viral

The popular ‘Super Singer’ show that is aimed at discovering new singing talents has crossed eight seasons on Vijay TV and has gained a cult following. Many of the contestants from the show have made it big as playback singers in Tamil and other South Indian languages.

One of the breakthrough talents of ‘Super Singer’ is Maalavika Sundar who participated in the initial stages of the show.   She has then gone on to sing more than 200 songs in Telugu films.  She recently announced that at the age 33 she has found her man in businessman Ashwin Kashyap and created a sensation by posting a liplock photo with him on Instagram.

Today Maalavika and Ashwin tied the knot today in Chennai and pics from the event have gone viral.  It is noteworthy that the “Dang Dang” singer announced earlier that her hubby is younger to her stating “It does not matter to me that a boy should be older than a woman, and that it is enough to understand and respect each other.”
