The biggie multistarrer 'Kaappaan' starring Suriya, Mohan Lal and Arya and the opposite of that 'Oththa Seruppu' in which Parthiban has made a one-actor movie are locking horns at the box office. Between these two star vehicles comes a small movie 'Super Duper' which is touted as an out and out racy entertainer that has an innovative storytelling technique in it.

Firstly 'Super Duper' starts with a comic book style narration and uses it as an interlude in many places that gives a newage edge to the film. The core subject is about drugs and how the daughter of an honest narcotics officer is affected by the druglord and there is also a twist as to who he is.

Indhuja made audiences sit up and notice through her firebrand performance as a lower middle class North Madras girl in 'Meyaadha Maan' and followed it up with an intense role as Arya 's wife in 'Magamuni'. The pretty girl has got a lot of scope to show what she is got in action scenes, gun-toting, sensual romance and not to forget an item dance as well.

Hero Dhruva who has done a serious role in his debut movie has tried his hand at a convention hero doing comedy, action , romance and sentiments with a lot of enthusiasm. YouTube fame Shiva Shah Raa appears in dual roles as an encounter cop and comical sidekick. The rest of the cast are all apt for their roles.
