Sunrisers management chooses Kane Williamson as captain

Sunrisers Hyderabad today sacked David Warner from captaincy for the ongoing IPL season over performance issues. New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson will lead the team for the rest of the season.

"SunRisers Hyderabad would like to announce that Kane Williamson will be taking over the captaincy for tomorrow's match and for the remainder of IPL 2021," the management of SRH today said.

The statement, issued in earnest, said that the team management has decided that they will be changing the overseas combination for Sunday's match against Rajasthan Royals.

The decision has been welcomed by Netizens supporting SRH.
