One of Sunrisers Hyderabad's key players, T Natarajan, was ruled out of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League owing to a knee injury. His injury required expert medical attention but the doctors were unable to attend to him due to the bio-bubble restrictions while he was part of the team.
The pacer took to social media to share a picture of himself post the knee surgery, expressing his gratitude to the medical team. "Today, I underwent knee surgery- and am grateful for the expertise, attention, and kindness of the medical team, surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff. I'm grateful to @bcci and to all that have wished well for me," Natarajan had written. Earlier, he had shared a video on social media, announcing that he won't be part of the remaining games of the tournament. "I'm sad to miss the remaining games this season. Since I played well last season and went on to play for India, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, I have to undergo knee surgery and will miss this season," Natarajan mentioned in the video that was shared on SRH's official Twitter handle.
He added, "Thank you to the SRH family, support staff, and players. They supported and motivated me a lot. I'm going to miss the SRH family this season. I have no words to say right now. I wish SunRisers go out and win every game. Best wishes." Sunrisers Hyderabad will be taking on Chennai Super Kings next on April 28 at the Feroz Shah Kotla Ground in New Delhi.
