More than a decade back his 'Ghatak' had started off in Banaras while his 'Arjun Pandit' too had it's bearing in a North India small town. His 'Gadar' was set in Punjab and another upcoming film of his, 'Mohalla 80', is again set in Banaras. Now even 'Ghayal Returns' would be set in a small town, hence continuing the trend for Sunny Deol.

"Actually it is a good trend which is picking up and more and more actors and filmmakers are open to exploring different options for their film's setting. Since the line between class and mass audience is diminishing and multiplexes are mushrooming in smaller cities and towns as well, it makes sense to bring real India into the films," says a script writer.

On contacted Ashwini Chaudhary, director of 'Ghayal Returns', did confirm that the film would be shot in the interiors of India. "Yes, we would be shooting in Bhopal and Gwalior. Ek zameen se judi hui story hai yeh. Since I also come from such galli-mohalla, it makes it even easier and interesting to shoot the film in such surroundings.

Sunny too is mighty excited about getting into this zone after the Bombay setting of 'Ghayal'. The sequel will present him in a different light," he says.

Well, we look forward to that for sure.
