According to latest reports, actor Sunny Wayne has been roped in for Nivin Pauly's much-anticipated movie 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' directed by Roshan Andrews. Reportedly, Sunny will be playing a close aid to Kochunni in the movie. However, an official confirmation from the team is awaited. If the project materializes with Sunny Wayne on board, it will mark to be his second film with Nivin Pauly after he did a cameo role in the latter`s superhit 'Thattathin Marayathu'.

Meanwhile, the social media users are going gaga over the recently released character sketches of Nivin Pauly and Amala Paul in the movie which is based on the 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' stories, in Aithihyamala. Though there have been many versions of Kochunni's life stories, the upcoming venture will explore on how Kochunni turned out to be a rebel from a common man.

Scripted by the duo Bobby-Sanjay and produced by Gokulam Gopalan, for Sree Gokulam Films, the movie's music will be done by Kabali music director Santhosh Narayanan and sound designing by Baahubali sound designer Satheesh. 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' will start rolling on September first and will be shot at the various locations of Kayamkulam and Sri Lanka.
