Sunny Leone's film gets a high-sounding title

If you were told that a film titled 'Veera Maha Devi' is being made, you would have thought that its heroine must be Divya Spandana or Kushboo at best and Jayaprada at worst. But no, its heroine is Sunny Leone. The title of her debut straight Telugu film, directed by VC Vadivudaiyan and produced by Ponse Stephen on Steeves Corner, is 'VMD'.

This big-budgeted movie will go on the floors in February.

"After this movie, I am sure my image will change completely. I have always liked doing action sequences. I was waiting for a script like this only for years. I started preparing for this movie from the minute director VC Vadivudayan narrated me the script. I have a special love towards South India and so I am very happy to do a straight Telugu movie," Sunny says.

"The actress will be training in the sword fight, horse-riding, and stunts. A special trainer from Andhra will fly to Mumbai to coach Sunny. We have her dates for as many as 150 days," the makers say.

It will also be made in Tamil and Malayalam. And the dubbed version will be out in Hindi.

Pawan Kalyan can't stop blushing
