Actress Sunny Leone for the second time in a row bags as the most searched B-town actor (Female). She was earlier named in an obscenity case filed by a Mumbai housewife, later a Left leader linked a condom ad featuring her to increase in rapes. These things actually made her famous, if you go to see.
By 2015, she appeared in the films Ek Paheli Leela' and Kuch Kuch Locha Hai' which did not do well at the box office but she gained a lot of importance and recognition in the industry. Her next film Mastizaade' had trouble getting past the Censor Board but the recent music video titled 'Super Girl From China' was slammed for being sexist. So, research says that, Sunny was the most Googled Indian in 2014 and 2015 too.
Kick' star Salman Khan was at second place on the list of 10 most Googled Indians. Sunny and Salman top the lists for most searched Bollywood actress and actor. Regards, Prime Minister Narendra Modi slipped to tenth spot on the list - he was second most searched last year. Other leading Bollywood stars like, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt at numbers four, five, six and nine. The remaining three are occupied by former President Abdul Kalam, who died in July, singer Yo Yo Honey Singh and actress Kajal Aggarwal.
The blockbuster movie Baahubali' pushed Salman's Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' to second and third positions on the list of 10 most searched movies.
