Superstar Sunny Deol, who has been away from the big screen for a while is planning to make a comeback with a string of exciting projects which are currently under production. Few months back, it was reported that Sunny will be playing the lead in Hindi adaptation of the Malayalam crime thriller 'Joseph'.
The latest buzz suggests that the film might soon go on floors in Jaipur, Rajasthan. A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, "Sunny hopes to shoot it in the summer in a start-to-finish schedule. The narrative has been tweaked to appeal to the Hindi-speaking audience. The story is now set in Jaipur."
According to an earlier report in Pinkvilla, Sunny watched 'Joseph' after being offered the remake and he was super impressed by it. A source told the news outlet, "Sunny Deol is looking to switch gears by signing on for some strong content driven films and is more inclined towards the thriller space. When Kamal Mukut approached him to feature in the remake of Joseph, he watched the film and was bowled over by the film. He only had one request and that is to keep the film as gritty and real, as the Malayalam original."
Apart from this, Sunny will soon be seen in sequels of his iconic movies like 'Gadar 2' and 'Apne 2'.
