Bollywood actor and BJP MP from Sunny Deol has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor took to his social media handle to reveal the same. "I was tested for COVID-19 and my report came back positive. I am in isolation and my health is stable. I request all those who have come in contact with me over the past few days to isolate themselves and get themselves tested," he tweeted.

The 64-year-old bollywood actor had recently undergone a shoulder surgery at Mumbai and was recuperating at a farmhouse near Manali in Kullu district. Reportedly, the actor had planned to leave for Mumbai when he received his COVID-19 test result on Tuesday.

On the work front, the actor will be seen in the sequel of Apne, starring alongside his father Dharmendra, brother Bobby Deol and son Karan Deol. The movie would release during Diwali 2021
