Renowned anti-sex trafficking activist and Padma Sri recipient Sunitha Krishnan has tested negative for Coronavirus. She undertook tests yesterday after she returned from Bangkok with a mild cough.
"The test results for coronavirus have just come in. It is NEGATIVE. What a relief!!! Many thanks to all my friends and well wishes for your prayers and wishes," the crusader against sex crimes said today.
The activist was tested at Hyderabad's Gandhi Hospital. "Many people asked me how was my experience at Gandhi Hospital. I would say, by and large, it is ok. But what I carry back is memory of this young paramedic Syed Abdul Habib who made my stay comfortable with his compassion and empathy. Shukriya Habib Bhai!" Sunitha Krishnan today tweeted out.
