Sunil's sagging career to get remake make-over

Although this has been a mixed year for Sunil, what with 'Krishnashtami' and 'Eedu Gold Ehe' sinking without a trace and 'Jakkanna' performing so-so, offers haven't stopped coming his way. At at time when he is poised to act in the remake of '2 Countries', to be directed by N Shankar of 'Jayam Manaderaa' and 'Jai Bolo Telangana' fame, Sunil is reportedly set to reprise GV Prakash Kumar in another remake.

Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments is likely to remake 'Enakku Innoru Per Irukku' and the same will be directed by G Nageswara Reddy. Incidentally, the producer-hero-director duo are all on a roll, announcing film after film this year. The director has so far had three releases in the last six months - 'Aatadukundam Raa', 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' and 'Intlo Deyyam Naakendu Bhayyam'.

It has to be seen if these two remakes salvage Sunil's sagging career.
