Suniel Shetty was one of the biggest action stars during 90s and he has been a part of several iconic films throughout his career. Although he has been away from Bollywood for a while now, the actor recently reacted to the ongoing boycott trends in the industry. For the unversed, large groups of social media trolls are campaigning against certain films for no good reason.
These boycott demands have proved catastrophic for box office numbers of films like 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and 'Raksha Bandhan'. Suniel Shetty stated that he can't seem to find a reason behind these illogical actions. He told ANI, "We have done a lot of good work too. However, people might not be happy with the type of subjects the films are having these days, and that is why we are going through such a tough time."
The actor further added, "Hopefully, this will be considered. Initially, it felt like a one-off thing but now we have been continuously seeing that people are not coming to theatres and I can't put my finger on a reason why and what this is happening."
