As the release date is nearing, the makers of 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham' are regularly keeping their fans engaged by unveiling the movie posters back to back. Recently, the team unveiled the look of Bollywood actor Suneil Shetty in the movie.

Shetty is playing a warrior named Chandroth Panicker in the big-budget war movie, which is being directed by National-Award winning filmmaker Priyadarshan. His character looks majestic in the poster and has already won the hearts of the audiences.

After playing the villain in Rajinikanth's Darbar, the Bollywood hunk is making his Mollywood debut the multi-starrer multilingual film 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham'. The actor's first look as Chandroth Panicker was released on Thursday.

suniel shettyRecently, the makers have unveiled the character posters of Keerthy Suresh and Arjun Sarja as well. As the audience has already given a thumbs up to all the first look posters of the movie, expectations around the project are sky high!

marakkarThe film which is set during the era of the 16th century in Kerala is based on the legendary sailor Kunjali Marakkar IV, which is played by Mohanlal. According to media reports, the period drama is produced at a budget of Rs 100 crore, and will feature an ensemble cast of Keerthi Suresh, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Suhasini and Mukesh among others.

Pranav Mohanlal will also be seen doing a cameo in the movie. Several foreign actors are also said to be acting in the film. Antony Perumbavoor is bankrolling the project under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. 'Marakkar' will hit screens simultaneously in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. A Hindi version is also expected.

The film is currently in its post-production stage and is expected to hit the big screen on March 26.
