Earlier in the day, producer SK Basheed alleged that Sundeep Kishan has caused him financial losses on 'Project Z', the dubbed version of 'Maayavan' (Tamil). Basheed told journalists that Sundeep is his villain. "Don't do films with him. I will challenge him legally," he said.

Sundeep is yet to directly respond to the allegations. However, his Twitter timeline is witness to a few individuals supporting him on the issue and calling out Basheed. The actor has approvingly shared their tweets.

A page says that Basheed is a "renowned cheat", who was even jailed for "illicit acts". Another tweet says that his allegations are not believable as he went to the extent of removing the director's name and replacing it with his own!

"Any actor who respects his profession will never agree to get dubbed by others, that too in his mother tongue, Sundeep bro, what you did is right. This fellow (Basheed) is a fraud who spoiled a very good film from reaching its deserved heights," says another in support of the actor.
