Shooting for ‘A1 Express’ hasn't been easy for Sundeep Kishan, who is playing a professional hockey player in the sports drama. Currently, the film is being shot at the Begumpet Hockey Stadium in Hyderabad.

Speaking to Times Of India, the 'Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene' actor says that hockey is so physically demanding that he now understands how difficult it is to play the game. He has not only become physically fitter for the role but also has got trained in hockey to get the basics right. So also Lavanya Tripathi, who too plays hockey in the drama.

The actor describes 'A1 Express' as an ode to hockey.

Directed by Dennis Jeevan Kanukolanu, the film also features Murli Sharma in a key role. Music is by 'Dhruva' fame musician Hiphop Tamizha. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, Abhishek Agarwal, Sundeep Kishan and Daya Pannem of People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and Venkatadri Talkies, its cinematography is by Kevin Raj.
