Asif Ali-Aparna Balamurali starrer upcoming movie 'Sunday Holiday' is gearing up for release. Slated to hit screens in July, Sunday Holiday is written and directed by Jis Joy.

In the movie, Asif plays a youth named Amal, a depressed youth who leads a band set in Kannur, while Aparna essays the role of a smart girl, Anu who falls in love with him. After the 2013 comedy thriller, Bicycle Thieves, Asif Ali and director Jis Joy are joining forces for the second time with this upcoming romantic comedy entertainer.

Alencier Ley Lopez is playing Asif Ali`s father in this movie, which has Lal Jose, Sreenivasan, Siddique, Asha Sharath, KPAC Lalitha, Bhagath Manuel, Ramesh Pisharody and Sudheer Karamana playing supporting roles. Produced by Sheen Helen for Maqtro Pictures, Sunday Holiday is expected to hit the theatres soon.
