Actress Radha acted as heroine in a few movies in the 2000s including the Murali-Vadivelu starrer 'Sundara Travels' , 'Adavadi' with Sathyaraj and the Karan-Vadivelu laugh riot 'Kathavarayan'. It is reported that her first marriage was with a producer with whom she has a child and later divorced.
In November 2013, Radha lodged a complaint against entrepreneur Faizul, claiming that he had refused to marry her after a six-year live-in relationship and had threatened to make their private videos public. She further alleged that director Erode Soundar been an accessory to Faizul's wrongdoing.[4][5] Within three weeks, she withdrew her complaint
In August 2016, Radha claimed that a gangster named Vairam from Puzhal Central Prison called and threatened her about her relationship with film producer, Munivel. She lodged a police complaint following the incident, though following her press statement, Munivel's wife came out and criticized the actress for damaging her relationship with her husband
Now once again Radha has lodged a complaint at the Virugambakkam police station against one Vasantha Raja a police sub-inspector claiming that he is her second husband and that he is physically assaulting her and her mother.
In the inquiry Vasantha Raja has reportedly stated that he became friendly with Radha when he was working in the Thiruvanmiyur police station in Chennai though he was married and with children. Wanting to be with the actress he had got himself transferred to the Vadapalani station and started living with Radha in her Saligramam residence after marrying her privately.
According to Vasantha Radha, his second wife did not cut off her friendship with males after marriage in spite of his warnings. When Radha's mother visited from Hyderabad he had also complained to her but instead of warning her daughter threatened him and that's how the misunderstanding started. A case has been filed and further investigations are being undertaken.
