The iconic duo, Sundar C and Vadivelu, to reunite for a new movie after 14 years?

Following the mega-blockbuster success of Sundar C’s latest film, ‘Aranmanai 4’, the actor-director faces a dilemma in selecting his next project. Reports suggest he is contemplating either embarking on ‘Kalakalappu 3’ or reviving his ambitious magnum opus, ‘Sangamithra’.

The latest buzz is that the iconic Sundar C-Vadivelu duo is reuniting for Sundar C’s next film. This pair has previously delivered comedy blockbusters such as ‘Winner’, ‘Giri’, ‘Thalainagaram’, ‘London’, ‘Rendu’, and ‘Nagaram’. According to sources, Sundar C is planning to direct a movie where both he and Vadivelu will play the lead roles, and he is considering starting this project next.

The initial talks for this upcoming flick have started now. If everything goes well, the duo will be reunited after 14 years. Notably, Sundar C might possibly work on ‘Aranmanai 5’ as well. ‘Aranmanai 4’ became the first 100 crore grossing Tamil film in 2024. This movie breathed new life into the Tamil cinema box office when it was facing a dry spell.
