After the stupendous success of his debut film 'Yaamirukka Bayame' director Deekay was signed up by the same RS Infotainment banner of Elred Kumar for his second film 'Kavalai Vendam' and Jiiva was fixed up as the hero. However the project took too long time to commence.

At last the waiting time has come to an end and Deekay will start shooting his second project from next week in Coonoor.

Jiiva and Kajal Aggarwal play the lead roles in this film while Bobby Simha is expected to play an important role in this film. Sunaina who is acting in role in Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' has also joined the cast of the film for and will be playing an important role in this flick. Sruthi Ramakrishnan has also been roped in for another pivotal female character.

The shooting of 'Kavalai Vendam' is expected to begin on January 18 in Coonoor and all the cast members will be taking part in the first day shoot.
