Sumanth's 'Idam Jagath', a dark thriller set in Visakhapatnam, sees the actor in a role with negative shades. The hero plays a photo-journalist in this thriller and Anju Kurien of 'Premam' fame is the heroine.

Directed by Anil Srikantam, a debutant, the film has an apt title as per the makers. "Sumanth's character will thrill the audience for sure. The title, too, has been received well. Those audiences who yearn for novelty will sure love 'Idam Jagath'," the makers say.

Post-production works are going on as of now. Shivaji Raja, Satya of 'Chalo' fame, Priyadarshini Ram, Aditya Menon, Kalyan Vithavu and Shafi are part of the cast.

Music is by Sricharan Pakala. Cinematography is by Balreddy P. Editing is by Garry BH. Jonnalagadda Padmavate and Gangapatnam Sridhar have produced the movie on Viraat Films and Sri Vignesh Karthik Cinemas.
