Sumanth’s ‘Kapatadhaari’: Release date advanced

Sumanth’s film with Kollywood helmer Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, ‘Kapatadhaari’ was supposed to release last year. Its release date was recently announced to be February 26. However, with Nithiin’s ‘Check’ choosing the same date, its release date has been advanced.

The thriller, whose Tamil version released recently, will now hit the screens on February 19.

The male lead plays a traffic cop in the movie. Touted to have a number of twists, it will clash with ‘Naandhi’ and Vishal’s ‘Chakra’.

An emotional thriller exploring a new theme, the film features Nasser, Nandita, Pooja Kumar, Jayaprakash, and Sampath in key roles. If music is by Simon K King, the screenplay adaptation is by G Dhananjayan himself. Dialogues are by Bhashyasree. Editing is by Praveen KL. Action is by ‘Stunt’ Silva and Art Direction is by Videsh.
