It's known that Sumanth is doing a film in the direction of Kollywood's Pradeep Krishnamoorthy. The news is that it has been titled 'Kapatadhaari'.

"The title is in keeping with the subject. It means a deceptive road. This one is an official remake of the Kannada hit ‘Kavaludaari. An emotional thriller exploring a new theme, this Telugu-Tamil flick is produced by Dr. G. Dhananjayan of Creative Entertainers and Distributors," the makers say.

Nasser, Nandita, Pooja Kumar, Jayaprakash, and Sampath are in key roles. The film's motion poster has been unveiled by Akkineni Nagarjuna.

If music is by Simon K King, the screenplay adaptation is by G Dhananjayan himself. Dialogues are by Bhashyasree. Editing is by Praveen KL. Action is by ‘Stunt’ Silva and Art Direction is by Videsh.

To be shot in Chennai and Hyderabad, this one will be a March 2020 release.
