Qualified, intelligent and with tremendous back up Sumanth arrives from ‘Aata’ in the direction of successful director Vijayakumar.

Sumanth is the son of well known producer Shailendra Babu who has high reputation in the Kannada cinema industry. Sumanth arrival is just not like that. He has done acting course in Kishore Namith Kapoor School of Acting, Sunil Kumar Singh and Subramanyam taught him more nuances of acting. Sumanth on his own interest learnt Martial arts like Kungfu, Karate and trained in some more varieties in the camp of Appu Venkatesh.

According to his father Shailendra Babu, Sumanth a graduate in business management prepared a CD that showcased his talent and handed it over to him. It is only after taking a look at it the experienced father decided on casting his son. It has been the childhood dream of Sumanth to get into cinema. As a child I was accompanying my father on the sets of 13 films from our banner.

Vibha Nataraj a model turned actress is making debut in her first Kannada film ‘Aata’. According to Sumanth this ‘Aata’ is an attempt to entertain the class and mass audience. There will be wonderful package of entertainment. I am very confident of delivering good work says Sumanth.
