Sumalatha is mother - HDK

Heavy weight politician family back up Nikil Gowda plays the medical college student in the film. The bondage with the mother in the film is the demand put forward by his father HD Kumaraswamy after hearing the entire script. HDK felt the need of mother character. Accordingly adjustment has been made. Sumalatha Ambarish has been selected for mother role as she suits both Kannada and Telugu cinema industry mentioned HDK in a standing interview at JW Mariot after formal media address.
The mother character comes for nearly 10 minutes in the film. There is a song also for mother. Otherwise it is jolly going boy role. Audience will be calculating why the protagonist is doing like this as they watch the film. In the last 20 minutes all questions in the mind would get answers says the happy looking HD Kumaraswamy. Appreciating the qualities of his son Nikil, HDK stated that he is very firm on taking decisions. It is only after grooming up he gave the nod to act in films.
