Suma opens up about son Roshan’s debut

It has been reported that Roshan Kanakala, the son of the Suma-Rajeev Kanakala duo, is going to make an acting debut soon. He was seen as a child artist in ‘Nirmala Convent’ in 2016. 

In her latest interview, Suma opened up about her son’s debut. “His film is going to be launched later this year,” she said, without adding much.

Suma said that his son has been wanting to become an actor ever since he was a child. “I and Rajeev can support him only till his first movie. Later on, it is up to his destiny and fate,” Suma said. 

The celebrity TV anchor added that she has been preparing her son for tough challenges and failures in the film industry. Suma added that her daughter, who is 16, expects her to do films as much as possible.

Suma awaits the release of ‘Jayamma Panchayathi’ this Friday (May 6). Directed by Vijay Kumar K, it is about how the female protagonist challenges the village council when ‘Chadivimpulu’ is not given to her when she has been respecting the tradition for years.
