Suma Kanakala announces temporary goodbye

Suma Kanakala may have been ubiquitous for many years, but she is not going to be seen as often in the coming months, or even for a year or two.
The star TV anchor and game show host has decided to go on a sabbatical. It will be a temporary break from her grinding work schedule. She won't be doing TV for some time.
I am a Malayali who couldn't have made it this big but for the unconditional love of the Telugu audience. It's inevitable that I take a break now for some time, Suma said in the promo for a show titled 'Where Is The Party?'.
The reason for her sabbatical will be made official in the show, which is going to be telecast by Mallemaala Entertainments on December 31 night. Suma made the announcement in the presence of performers such as Hyper Aadi and Sohel Ryan.
