Sullan
The latest pin-up boy of Kollywood, Dhanush is eagerly awaiting the release of his next venture Sullan. Even though there are some apprehensions about the movie's smooth release later this month, because of the demand by a few sections among film distributors that the actor's other movie Dreams be completed and released first, Dhanush is confident of Sullan's release on 25 June.
The movie would be released first and would earn rave reviews, he says with an air of optimism. In the midst of several problems involving his call-sheets, Dhanush accepted the offer to play the lead in Sullan, a few months ago. He says, the entire shoot is completed now.
Director Ramana, who wielded the megaphone for actor Vijay's Thirumalai has done his best in Sullan. 'In the movie, Dhanush plays the son of a garbage truck driver. He has donned the role of a rustic youth. An action-packed film, Sullan would a treat for front-benchers', Ramana says. A Mumbai girl Sindhu Tholani acts plays the female lead. Also in the cast are Pasupathy, Ishwari Rao, Sanghavi, Kalairani and Vadivelu.
A couple of songs were shot in New Zealand.
