Sukumar to direct Akhil Akkineni

Actor Akhil Akkineni, who is still mulling over his second project, has set his eyes on director Sukumar, says the buzz. If the reports are anything to go by, Sukumar is in contention to direct Akhil in his next movie to be produced by Abhishek Pictures. The film is going to be an out-and-out love story and apparently will be in Sukumar's style, says a source.
Sukumar is currently basking in the success of his latest outing Nannaku Prematho, a revenge drama starring NTR in lead role. Though Sukumar is set to direct Devi Sri Prasad's debut film as an actor, it is learnt that the project will take some time to hit the floors owing to other commitments of the music composer. Meanwhile, Sukumar is on a break and a decision will be made once he returns, adds the source.
