Allu Arjun and Sukumar have struck gold once again with their latest blockbuster, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The high-budget pan-India action drama earned a staggering ₹449 crore gross worldwide within just two days of its release. To celebrate this remarkable feat, the film’s team held a ‘Wildfire Blockbuster Success Meet’ on Saturday evening.

During the event, director Sukumar expressed heartfelt gratitude to India’s ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli. He revealed that Rajamouli played a crucial role in shaping the Pushpa franchise’s pan-India success.

“Rajamouli sir, you are the reason I’m standing where I am today. I owe my career to you,” Sukumar shared.

Initially, the team had no intention of releasing Pushpa: The Rise across India on such a large scale. After releasing two Hindi songs, they even considered dropping the idea. However, Rajamouli convinced Sukumar, Allu Arjun, and the producers to pursue a nationwide release.

Rajamouli has consistently admired the Pushpa series at various public events. The unprecedented success of Pushpa: The Rise laid a strong foundation, and its sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has only amplified the franchise's global impact.
