In his latest interview, the star director has confirmed that, after the second edition of the Allu Arjun-starrer, he is going to wield the megaphone for a Vijay Deverakonda movie. The project was announced in 2020. It might go on the floors only in 2023, after the release of 'Pushpa: The Rule' in December 2022.
Interestingly, the 'Nannaku Prematho' director has also got another film lined up. Speaking to Pinkvilla, the '1: Nenokkadine' maker revealed that the Deverakonda project might be followed by a film starring Ram Charan in the lead. If it happens, it will be his second outing with the 'Rangasthalam' actor. Sukumar cautiously added that, at this point in time, the project is yet to be locked.
Meanwhile, 'Pushpa: The Rise', which hit the screens on December 17, has turned out to be an unstoppable money-minter in the US, amassing 2 million dollars (gross).
